The lack of labour market-oriented skilled workers combined with the lack of the green and digital transformation are putting the sustainable competitiveness of the private sector and thus sustainable employment prospects of the population at risk. Thus, the Sustainable economic development and employment promotion in Bosnia and Herzegovina project aims to build upon lessons learned and approaches of projects in the areas of local economic development, innovation und digitalisation, green economy, and vocational education and training. The project aims to strengthen both the private sector (labour demand) and vocational education and training (labour supply) as part of the integrated approach for employment promotion.
Experts' Profiles:
Key Expert 1: Digitalization Expert
- Education/training: University degree (German ‘Diplom’/Master) in Business, Engineering or IT
- Languages: English C1 in the CEFR level
- General professional experience: 6 years of professional experience in the private sector development/ IT sector
- Specific professional experience: 5 years in private sector development, experience in digital transformation/ Industry 4.0, and development of business services
- Regional experience: 2 years of working experience in BiH, Western Balkans, South East Europe and/or Eastern Partnership countries
- Development cooperation (DC) experience: 2 years experience in DC projects
Key Expert 2: Green Economy Expert
- Education/training: University degree (German ‘Diplom’/Master) in Business, Engineering, IT or Environmental studies
- Languages: English C1 in the CEFR level
- General professional experience: 6 years of professional experience in the private
sector development/ green transition/ energy sector - Specific professional experience: 5 years in private sector development, green transition topics (energy efficiency, resource efficiency, digital tools for "greening" and development of business services
- Regional experience: 1 years of working experience in BiH, Western Balkans, South East Europe and/or Eastern Partnership countries
- Development cooperation (DC) experience: 2 years of experience in DC
Short-term expert pool (national/regional)
- Education/training: university degree (German ‘Diplom’/Master) in Business, Engineering, IT or other related field;
- Languages: C1-level language proficiency in English, knowledge of local language is considered an asset
- General professional experience: 5 years of professional experience in a position in business development, in digital innovation, or a related background
- Specific professional experience: 5 years professional experience in a relevant field
related to the activities foreseen; technology transfer, research commercialisation, private sector development, regional economic development, business development, innovation, digitalization - Regional experience: 2 years of working experience in BiH, Western Balkans, South
