Restructuring of Togo’s Institute for Training of VET Trainers Officially Launched
PEM Consult was awarded a project financed by KfW Development Bank to carry out the technical studies for the renovation of INFPP Lomé and the construction of a new INFPP facility in Kara. The project officially commenced on 1 November 2025, following a kick-off meeting held on 30 October 2025 with the main stakeholders, including the INFPP Project Implementation Unit and KfW Lomé.
As part of the Phase IV of the Youth Vocational Training and Employment Project, (PAFPE IV), the German government, through the KfW Development Bank has allocated €10.7 million to support the restructuring of the National Institute for Vocational Training and Development (INFPP) in Togo. The project aims to strengthen the quality of vocational training and ensure that high-quality training is aligned with Togo's labour market needs.
Following a six-week inception phase, PEM Consult will develop the preliminary and detailed designs and tender documents for the two INFPP sites (Lomé and Kara) and will provide technical support to the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) until the construction company is contracted to renovate / construct the INFPP.
The project is expected to be completed in March 2027, marking a significant milestone in the modernization of vocational education and training infrastructure in Togo.
