Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) is witnessing significant developments in the integration of digital technologies and sustainable practices within its SME sector. To foster this development a holistic approach for providing relevant services and cooperation among support institutions is required. 
The EU Green Deal emphasizing twin transition (digitalization and greening) creates the base for future orientation. The future of SMEs in BiH and their further competitiveness will highly depend on the ability to follow the twin transition, biased on the respected service market that supports businesses in that direction. Existing support organizations in BiH are very aware about the increasing demand in that direction. They require support in reorganizing their services as well as in promoting new services in that respect.
PEM Consult’s efforts shall contribute to the further integration of businesses into the EU market through supporting in a demand-driven way the respected BDS market in BiH.
PEM Consult supports from 01/2024 until 12/2025 design and implementation of project components, with a focus on achieving the following indicators:
•    15 services or products are developed by (green) Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) or private service providers in cooperation with stakeholders in the economic ecosystem in the field of digitalization or green economy for MSMEs. 
•    15 funded cooperation projects in the field of digitalization or green economy between service providers, universities, vocational schools and companies have been implemented.
•    27 success stories in the field of digital or green transformation in companies or vocational training, including 8 success stories of women, are presented to the public.
•    502 people, including 30 women, from the economic ecosystem have confirmed on the basis of a concrete case study that they have improved their knowledge of the potentials of the digital and green transformation of the economy.
