The project aimed at improving the employability of VET trainees in Kosovo.

The VET Department of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology was supported in its strategy to set up structures for VET delivery, monitoring, coordination and quality control. The project was part of the education strategy in Kosovo for 2007-2017, which foresees qualitative and effective development of the VET system, according to EU standards.

• Review and modernisation of curricula in VET according to labour market needs and EU standards;
• Coaching of working groups and strategic advice to the Ministry of Education, Sciences and Technology;
• Development of final exams and exam regulations;
• Supporting and monitoring the implementation of new curricula.
