The main target of the project FPMT was to promote practice oriented alternating vocational education and training becomes an integral part of the Moroccan national VET system in order to enhance the qualification and employability of the Moroccan labour force.

The project’s major fields of intervention were:

• Consulting the Moroccan government and defining the role of public institutions in the sector of VET;
• Strengthening the role and the competences of the private sector and of relevant professional associations in the domain of VET;
• Implementing pilot schemes aiming at an increased collaboration between enterprises and training centres.
